St. Mary's Stadium - Southampton F.C - 2010
Leeds doing there very best to f**k up the 'un f**k up-able' and scrape the play offs despite earlier in the season commanding an 8 point lead at the top...
I managed to get a ticket to the away game Vs Southampton where Leeds didn't have a single shot on target all game and were beaten 1-0. A really scrappy game and one they could have won if they wanted to!
Train from Clapham and them it's walking distance from Southampton station past a few pubs. Most Leeds fans were in Yates whilst we were in the Eagle on the park
Another new stadium. Nothing on The Dell and Le Tiss and built near a housing estate on an old industrial estate next to gas towers, barbed wire and train tracks. Not the nicest bit of town at all (rumour has it their new owner wants YET ANOTHER stadium, this one barely 10 years old).
A stadium built for Premier League football and filled up on the day for what was not long ago a top flight fixture. Let's hope it is again in the not too distant future!
