Last month I paid a visit to Raynes Park Vale F.C to watch a pre-season game vs Kingstonian. This ground has sprung up from a playing field with the help of dedicated volunteers. It has a bit of a 'mad max' feel about it with fences and random objects dotted around the place - such as a tractor and what looks like a ticket office from an old train station acting as a human turnstyle.
With cover at a premium (a BBQ occupied the cover behind one of the goals) a light drizzle sent everyone running to the main stand with wooden slats and a few seats. Not much else to say but a quaint if not very basic football ground which serves it's purpose! No program, entry was a fiver!
